MAP is a registered arts charity founded in 2008 and based in Leeds, as a charity the objectives of the organisation are to widen participation in the arts and address issues of social inequality. This is achieved through working with people at all stages of development within the arts, from grass roots right through to professionals – from those taking their first lessons in painting, to university students who volunteer at MAP through professional artists and musicians who exhibit and perform at MAP.
